This book is dedicated to the three children’s pavilions of Ackermätteli, Oekolampad, and Claramatte in Basel. It documents their design, construction, and everyday use within the urban fabric of the city. Featuring essays by artist, educator, and curator Chantal Küng; architect Caesar Zumthor; and the organization Verein Robi-Spiel-Aktionen Basel—as well as a photographic essay created years after the buildings’ completion—the book explores the continued integration of the pavilions into their respective neighborhoods. Edited by Kambiz Shafei, the book is published by The Irregular Paper.
